Political Perspectives is a peer-reviewed electronic journal publishing postgraduate research in the field of politics. Edited by students at the University of Manchester, the journal aims to engender lively intellectual conversations across all aspects of political studies and to reflect the emerging research agendas of upcoming academics. As an exclusively postgraduate journal, we place a strong emphasis upon assisting the development of students’ research by giving constructive and detailed feedback on manuscripts, providing experience of the publishing process and assisting contributors in the expansion of their research and publication profiles.
Political Perspectives brings together scholarship in areas including political theory, public policy, governance, comparative European politics and international politics. All theoretical positions are welcomed and encouraged. In doing so the journal reflects the diversity of interest and wealth of knowledge found within the Politics discipline area of the School of Social Sciences at the University of Manchester and beyond.
